Pure
Haven't been riding long on my T-pro, maybe 2 months or so... Anyways, on the driveside of the bike the BB cup'shell has come out by about 5mm which is quite concerning as I managed to snap the BB axle on my last bike I know the obvious is to take the cranks etc. off and tighten it back up, but why has it come out in the first place?! Cheers
monkeyseemonkeydo
It happens. Because of the loading and vibration etc. BB's can work loose. It's important to keep an eye on it and tighten it as soon as you notice it's come loose since otherwise you can strip the threads and ruin the frame. It may be worth getting some thread-lock compound on there before you retighten as this will help to stop it from coming loose again. Final point is that you will need to loosen the non-driveside first before tightening the driveside back up and then retighten the non-driveside. Pure
Cheers for the speedy reply! Now to get the cranks off which both have stripped threads...
monkeyseemonkeydo
Oooh... good luck! Square taper or ISIS?
Pure
Square taper, used an ISIS puller the first time as I bought the wrong tool, got a square taper puller now but no threads to pull from
Adam-Griffin
Chuck a kettle full of boiling water over the crank arms and tap them with a hammer
Pure
Chuck a kettle full of boiling water over the crank arms and tap them with a hammer Used a heatgun last time, does the same job but keeps them all dry!
Revolver
Just a side note, if your BB has yolk in it someone's tricked you. It sounds like someone's given you an egg instead.

Well it's housed in the BB shell so...
