Miss-Higgy
So what are your recommendations for a 19" rear tyre? I need a new one and don't want the wrong thing.. I'm thinking creepy crawler but there might be something better?
SamKidney
Try-All Stiky 19 Grippy, nice bit of bounce to them, slightly larger volume than a Maxxis that adds to stability and they resist punctures like no other 19" Tyre. Only downside is they do wear out a tad faster than Maxxis Creepys, but well worth it
p_ruskin
Eagle Claws are good, especially if you want grip and you don't want to have to pay loads for try-all tyres that will last half the time Edited October 28, 2011 by onza limey20
Azarathal
It's either the Creepy Crawler or the Monty Eagle claws that have the same compound as a Sticky, can't remember which. Anyway, if you can afford to replace your tired more often go for a Try-all, if not then the Montys are amazing.

alex-trials-boy
monty eagle claw, enough said (: I'll always be a maxxis boy, my old monty eagle claw on the front just died after like 3 months was super bald, dont know what they're like on the rear though loved my old Try-All aswell, but also lost it quickly Maxxis all the way
CalopS
Monty for summer, try-all for winter.
skidmark
try-all sticky all the way for me. i feel more stable with this tyre and even when theyre bold theyre still surprisingly grippy!!
Martin Reynolds
monty eagle claw, enough said (: Same. I found it slightly less grippy than the try all (but it is part worn), but so much more slow, predictive and progressive rebound

wilf
i ran maxxis' front and rear for around 2 years on my T-Lite, never found them not grippy enough, i was shite though. My brother always said a monty rear and try-all front was the best so thats probably what i would go for now. Wilf
