crashbanggg
Having well and truly fecked my rear wheel, I need a new one. So far iv been offered/ shown three options so far: - 'Shimano deore disc hub on mavic xc717 disc rim, built with dt swiss comp silver spokes (New hand built) £50 posted' - 'Sun Ringle (cartridge bearing) hubs on Mavic XM321 F219 with dtswiss spokes' Slightly out of true with some scratching £35 posted - 'Hope XC rear wheel (36H) on Sun Ditch Witch rim' £50 posted I'm leaning towards the Hope, mainly due to it being a Hope, Does this sound like the best bet out of the three? Or are there any other options? Cheers Chris
Tomm
I'd always go Hope. Depends a bit on what it's for though - Those Sunn Ditch Witch rims are pretty average and a bit heavy for XC. That Shimano wheel will be plenty lighter, so you could consider it if you wanted something for an XC bike, but I would take a bit of extra weight for a Hope any day. crashbanggg
My bike's hardly built to a weight weenie spec so I imagine it'll be the hope!
CurtisRider
Those hopes make more than that on ebay, so i would go for that for sure!
monkeyseemonkeydo
Yup, definitely the Hope . Will be posted once the GP qualifying is finished!
crashbanggg
Now an even bigger, far more important question: To de-sticker the front rim or not?
