crashbanggg
I currently have these headphones, they are without doubt the comfiest headphones I have ever worn. However, the sound quality is...lacking. This has gradually got worse and now have absolutely no depth to them, especially with any form of background noise. So, my question is, what headphones do you recommend? Im wanting lots of depth to the sound and cheapness... though I imagine that will be at a compromise. I guess im looking to spend up to about £30 ? Also, I dont want headphones like these as I hate the feeling of them being like properly in my ear... LukasMcNeal
I know you don't really want them ones pictured but honestly they are really good for noise cancellation and the sound quality is good and has depth and great bass. Sennheiser are pretty good for in ear thats what I use, along the lines of CX300 I think. Haven't tried their other type that are not fully in ear though! I'd recommend these (even though they're in ear they are worth it : http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/7871144/Sennheiser-CX-300-Mark-II-Precision-Headphones/Product.html?searchtype=allproducts&searchsource=0&searchstring=sennheiser+cx300&urlrefer=search

My experiences of them seem to be that they either fall out really easily, or have to rammed in to the point where it feels like it must be f**king up my ears... LukasMcNeal
Can't say I've rode with them as I don't ride with music I'm afraid!
crashbanggg
Went for these in the end, reviews seem to suggest they're very good for the price so i'll have to wait and see! ...and get over my hatred for ear canal headphone things Edited October 19, 2011 by crashbanggg
Mike Deere
If only I'd seen this thread earlier. Panasonic RP-HJE240 earphones are the don. Pick 'em up for about a tenner, they're comfy as hell, include several sets of silicon inners in various sizes so you can get a perfect fit, they've been pretty rugged so far in the 18 months I've had them and the best thing about them is the sound quality... Freq response of 6Hz to 23KHz and you can really hear the difference. Deeeeeeeep smooth bass and crisp treble, fairly average in the mid range but so are most earphones. MadManMike
inb4 Skullcandy bumming. Before anyone says it: No, they don't have "good bass". No, they don't sound amazing. No, they don't look "really cool". No, they're not "great for the money". Sorry, but those that genuinely think they're good headphones have clearly never tried good headphones. The Sennheisers suggested are a good shout, but do you really need in-ear? Sennheiser PMX100 / 200's are fairly small neckband type which stay on nicely while running / riding and as small headphones go, they're amazingly good sounding. When I first heard them I was amazed that you could get such clear, powerful bass from such small 'phones. Worth considering.
