monkeyseemonkeydo
cheers but still didnt work lol have managed to put 16t on rear and 18t on front 18:16 will be massively too low. Try going the other way and try 18:13. Will take a while to get used to but would certainly be better than 16.
Little Yoshi
What size cranks you got?
Bigman
Show us some pictures of your setup, I have an echo trial 24 with 18 - 14 and just put a new chain on the other day, apart from it being a tight fit length wise it is no where near the frame Adam
SamKidney
Sounds like chain allignment more than the ratio your using mate. What Hub, Sprocket, BB, bashring, cranks and Freewheel are you running? Edited October 20, 2011 by Echo Lite

Azarathal
Different wheel sizes make different ratios
mad-dog
heres pics as you can seen tyre rubs on top part of tyre/ frame in pic one i think it cuz the new rear tyre i put on its alot higher than the original Edited October 20, 2011 by mad-dog
Matt Vandart
Have you tried 18/15?
Luke Rainbird
Have you tried 18/15? Again, on a 24", pretty damn low... Running a King, however, you might be able to get away with 19:14 or similar. There are sites about that'll give the exact chainstay length required for a given ratio - get over to those and find something with an equivalent ratio but another 5mm on the stays, job done
3dd
I was running 18-14 on my old echo trial. Never had troubles like that. Although I think your problem is the high profile tyre and the chain. Get something like k710 it stretches so much more and quicker so you can pul the will aback a bit more. I ran 2.5 swampthing on the back. Hope it helps!
