Wrayvon
Morning everyone, Been out of the loop for quite a while now, but decided to get back into trials again. Built up my bike only to find my rear brake level is fubared. So looking at getting a new brake, what is everyones opinions on these 2? Is either one any better than the other? Or is it worth going back to a 2005 one? Many thanks, apologies if this is an obvious answer, as I say, out of the loop!

SamKidney
pre 04 ! 04 TPA's would be more useful if they were made from cheese.
super
2011's entire lever body is made of cheese!

Bigman
I would go with any year HS33 over the TR, I have a TR lever on my rear brake at the moment, and it works well but the lever blade is in no way as comfortable as a magura blade! TrialsIsHard
Magura, unless you're splashing out on an SL.. As for year, i have no idea. I loved my pre-04 lever.. stronger than my 05 for sure!
Blake
Got to love a pre 04 lever, seem just to get more power from them, think it's the longer lever. They also return faster than your finger can in most cases. If you can't get a pre 04, get an 05 with 4 finger lever Beast.
TryAllTrials
2011's entire lever body is made of cheese! I have dacked mine a few times and it's solid.... Maby yours is literally made out of cheese but then again you probily don't own one yourself? They are awsome appart form they are not so good when it comes to washer less brake clamps :/ Edited October 17, 2011 by TryAllTrials
isitafox
Gott admit I love my new hs11s. The fact you can remove them without fettling about with grips is reason enough to get a set!
Wrayvon
Some very mixed opinions then! I have the Echo tr disc on the front, it hasn't bedded in yet but I like the feel of the lever. So I guess I'm not really any closer to a decision! Seen a few Echo TR brakes with leaky leavers. and i dont mean as in the my brothers dogs cousins uncles rabbits best mates boyfriends wel syk onza tburd m8 either, both ryans echo tr rim brakes started leaking from the piston after less than a month.
