A.Baxter
Wondering if anyone runs an echo hub in trialtechs forks, I just bought a pair and struggling to get the hub axle to fit in properly. I can get the wheel to fit but the forks then don't sit properly on the axle it sits between the washers on the axle bolt and the axle it's self. Has anybody else had this problem? And if so how can I sort it, unless it's okay to run it on the gap ? Thanks Adam

You can just get a file and open the dropouts a little bit. Trialtech, click Additional Information
AdamR28
... But the best way, IMO, is to make the axle smaller. This way you aren't mullering your £120 forks, only a £10 axle. We can do it if you wish: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/workshop/tartybikes_front_hub_modification_10mm_to_9mm_axle/c34p11665.html

Sam Moss
This happened to me but I filed the forks, I'm wishing I didn't do that now.
AndrewEH1
I don't think that filing the forks causes any major issues, many people have done it and I haven't heard anything bad about it. I'll probably use my forks until they break anyway so their value is meaningless.
Mark W
In fairness, I filed my Inspired forks 'cos I wasn't really able to machine down the particular axle I've got and it's been fine. If I had the option I'd do the axle though, personally.
