Mark W
If you can change up to the Stiky Lite I'd recommend that, but if not, I had only good experiences with my (cut-up) Eagle Claw.

Andeee
street From seeing other riders use try-all tyres in the past i have noticed they have a tendancy for wearing down rather quick and turn pretty much into a semi slick tyre. They are great for natural dont get me wrong. I wouldnt know what the new try-all lites would be like on street whether they have improved the tread etc of it... You ever considered a maxxis creepy crawler or echo tyre?
cunny12345
Ahh ok i'l bear that in mind, yeah i am using the maxxis at the moment, fancied a change as i have been using them time and time again. yeah the lite looked good, didn't really want to spend that much though :/ Edited October 15, 2011 by cunny12345
Mark W
The compound and tread pattern are the same. Never really got on with Creepy Crawlers personally - they just seem to react really weirdly on anything off-camber, and they didn't seem that great at avoiding pinch flats. The newer Echo tyres are usually around 1.4kg as well. I'm not usually that fussed about weights of stuff, but that's a lot of weight to suddenly add to your back wheel. The compound doesn't really feel great either (around 70a compared to the claimed 42a for the Maxxis tyres)...
cunny12345
yeah i felt the same about them, cheers for the comments, tempted to go for the eagle claw but really dont know yet
Alex Dark
Personally Id stay well away from the echo tyres! Stiky lite or eagle claw for me on the back... or if you cant afford it go for creepy crawler. Up front, i reckon the only tyre to go for is the try-all out of my experience
cunny12345
yeah (: oh yeah might wait for the try-all stiky front to come back in stock, and get front and rear try-all sticky, dont really fancy buying the try-all lite and spending £50 on one though :/
Azarathal
My eagle claw has been insane so far.
cunny12345
ok cheers guys, il go for the eagle claw, would you recommend an eagle claw up front or it not what other tyre? Matt.
Azarathal
What whatever up front. Bmx tyres, trials etc. Currently got a Kenda Small Block 8 on front and although it's light and bouncy grip is something to be desired. I used to love my holy roller for front though. Matt Vandart
If you are riding street, pick up a worn out try all sticky (the old one) for peanuts, its win for street.
SamKidney
I can only say good things about try-all tyres. They seem to be better in every single way. Theyre stupidly grippy, theyre uber stable, they are properly bouncy and they resist pinch flats brilliantly. Im running the stiky light rear riding TGS. I run a pretty low pressure and I havent had a single flat. The bounce of the tyre is a plus point when gapping/ sidehopping too. Im also running the normal Stiky front tyre. Again. No punctures, super grippy and the bounce makes tapping fun Buy Try-All. The best tyres out by a long run In my opinion.
cunny12345
Ah ok, il think about that, what is the wear rate on the try-all stiky's like though as i most days i wouldnt want it going bald in a few weeks Matt.
Matt Vandart
Bald try all tyres are great for street.
