Frame Choice ?

So moved to Australia buzzing to check out some new trials spots and find out that the threads in my Maggie mounts are no where in site (N) . So instead of being bothered to re-tap them I am deciding to treat myself to a new frame. I have 4 to choose from as they are in my price range and the seller is doing a deal for me on the one that I choose. The 4 (26") frames to choose from are the Neon X-ray, Neon Bow, Neon Wing, Because Simple. I really like the Wing frame, but other peoples views would be appreciated.

Thanks Howard (Y)

That depends largely on how you ride. If you want a "danny mac" style frame I can vouch for the because simple. You can 180 it off 10 sets without snapping it, it manuels, spins and is easy to pedal kick and bunny hop. Its a really tough frame and thick tubing (I dissected one and analyzed the design) I haven't ridden the other 3, but I have seen lots of good riders using the neons. As I remember they have much longer geometry and are more well suited to a TGS style of riding. I also believe they are significantly weaker and lighter. (just going off memory though make sure to verify this)

My friend just bought the new because frame and it looks and feels great. They improved their gusset, and tubing design. I am not saying in any way the other 3 are bad or inferior to the because I am just saying the because is great.

The neon wing looks amazing and if it was looks alone I'd go for that, however we need to know Geo's and how you ride.

All I remember of our time riding together is that you rolled up / down everything due to a hub with about 9 engagement points.

His riding improved a lot in his last few weeks riding here. As Mikey said, you'll need to find out the geo's first, no point just getting a frame on how it looks.
