What A Legend!

right, compliment sandwich......

I like the scenery.

That video was awful.

I liked the weather.

Ok, enough of being a smart-arse, If he want's to spin like a mad top then he can and to be fair, when it comes to rear wheel spins he is pretty good.

I just didn't really understand any of it, most of the shots he had a camelback on, how hard it is to take it off when you're doing something? would look better without it.

The music was a bit "dramatic" for my liking. (edit, second song is actually good :) )

A lot of the moves were repeated (and should have been killed off in the 90s).

his style is very "erratic" not really my style, he just seemed to be bouncing about a bit wildly most of the time.

So yeah, not really my cup of tea, but he seems to enjoy it, so that's fine.

I guess he just doesn´t give a f**k how things look like. He just has fun doing all those weird tricks. Still, that video he made in 2005 called "ultimate mod video" will always stay in my mind as one of the most influential of all time for me. I saw it too many times. He's a legend and I would love to get my hands on one of those black 2004 monty ti.

No compliment sandwich here, I'm just gonna say that that video was appalling. Yea, he can spin, but if he put some air in his tyre he'd be able to spin more. Sticking a horrendously missed kerb gap in there? Come on...

This video wouldn't have even been cool in the 90's. Simple.

Side note: I think my 2 most recent posts in video threads have been one about being amazed by a 'TGS' vid, and this one slagging off a 'BMX spinning shit' video. Who'd have thunked that there could be good and bad in each genre?

Look at his face, he has a smile on his face the entire time! You can see him enjoying every minute of being on the bike, that's what makes his riding appealing to me. It reminds me not too be too serious, but just have a good time.

I thought the video was really really awesome. He was the first rider I saw to do all the spin stuff on a mod and got me into mods back in the day. The rear tire spins are fantastic! Biggest spin I have ever seen before him was a 540, he did a 1080. My best ever was a 900. I thought the atmosphere of the video was really nice too. I actually really love his style. Its such a cool kind of flow. It looks fake/out of this world. He will just come to a dead stop then out of nowhere spin a 720 where as most other spinner styles rely heavily on momentum. You got to pay more attention to detail. For example I bet most of you didn't notice the tree he walltapped was over vertical. I think static walltaps are the coolest looking thing ever, it looks like he just shot up the wall for no reason. Find me a better video of someone doing 1080 rear wheel spins and static wall taps on over vertical walls.
