dann2707
hey. I have a samsung galaxy S and have a bit.of a problem with some earphones. The sound quality is atrocious. I can hear thr instruments but the singing is like its really far away. Really bad quality. However ipod earphones work absolutely great. Then its just as normal but any other earphones i.get the problem above. Any ideas? Could it be the connector that has more poles or something? Cheers. weirdoku
Get a light and shine it down the jack on the phone, see if there's dust collected in there. I had a problem once, no exactly like yours but there was a few mm of dust had compacted down the earphone jack making my iphones inline mic not work. What other earphones are you using? dann2707
Thanks, i'll have a gander. Well i've just borrowed some friends HTC earphones, and they do the same problem. It's like, the non premium earphones that do it. Strange how iPhone earphones work perfect though haha. With it being the complete opposite OS, irony or something
isitafox
Could be a software problem with the root program. The OS i use on my dell streak is the same, this particular setup makes the standard headset not work at all though iphone ones work perfect.
