p_ruskin
Really stuck on what to get, yes i have used the search bar but got no real answer, ive had urbans before and they were fine, but do trialtechs merit me spending £40 extra on them? really want to be saving but are trialtechs worth the cash in comparison? isitafox
Yes definately, I wouldn't go back to Urbans after having trialtechs. I've ran urbans on both my mods an stocks and the difference it made swapping was unbelievable, shown even more so as I went from disc to front maggie on both occasions and the trialtechs were so much stiffer even with the extra strain. I also prefer the geo of them, found it a bit odd at first as when stood up it looks like the front wheel is really far forward from the frame but other than that they ride great. Franksx2005
Right, cheers, i will be using front mag so i think the stiffness may help. thankyou for the help:) A friend of mine is selling a set of trialtech maggie forks for a 20"
Lewis Gething
I currently have the Trialtechs for my mod with a maggie front. The stiffness is awesome and they look great too in my opinion. Dish out for the Trialtechs-you wont regret it. aener
Seriously? You've ridden with me... how many time? I can't believe you feel the need to ask that. I thought I'd been plugging them pretty hard ever since I met you. Get the Trialtechs. They are without even a hint of a doubt even being a distant relative of the neighbor of the fact that Trialtech forks are the best. I had a set of Urbans, a set of Lites, Koxx Forxx and two other sets (can't remember what they were), all in one year. The Trialtechs have now lasted 18 months. Got quite a lot of gouges taken out of them, and you know full well I'm pretty rough on gear - still perfectly happy, and still dead stiff. I repeat: get the Trialtechs. Yeah, but my old Urbans were pretty good and are still holding up on Charlie's, he doesn't quite rag them as much as you really though, it was just a question of should i splash out on the extra money for them kind of thing

Savage
Trialtechs all the way... They are the only forks I trust.
Blake
I was going to get a pair of urbans, can't really afford the trialtechs, are urbans good at all? I don't do any taps and no huge hooks or anything, will they be okay for little ol' me? :}
AndrewG
go for tiraltech ! they are much more stiffer than urbans
Blake
:/ I can't really afford them.... EDIT: we are talking about the 20" ones right? Edited October 10, 2011 by DrStix
AndrewG
it´s ok. both 20" and 26" models are super stiff. anyway If you can´t get trialtech then urban is best opinion IMO(If you will get HS model I recomended you booster because these forks are good known for cracking in 4bolt mounts area...) cai
I prefer the geo of (stock/26") Urbans to Trialtech, they are similar but my Trialtechs stick out a bit far in front compared to my old Urbans. EDIT: However Trialtech's are a little stiffer and seem to be better made. Edited October 11, 2011 by cai
Sam Moss
Trialtechs! They are better in every way! Apart from the weight
Mark W
I prefer the geo of (stock/26") Urbans to Trialtech, they are similar but my Trialtechs stick out a bit far in front compared to my old Urbans. The older TT forks had 45mm offset, same as Urbans. The more recent TT forks have 40mm offset. I think it's mainly the curved legs that makes them look a bit more sticky-outy. weirdoku
Mutherf**kin Trialtechs! Your wrists will break before they do. I had a pair with a 180mm BB7 on a mod, solid.
