Does anyone know if maguras fit on a pair of sidekick forks?? might have to buy another pair of forks as they are all ive got for my 26 :/ the brake mounts are x2 bits of metal sticking out the frame, not the two holes on top of one another?? Sam

I used to in the good old days and yes they work fine with EVO adapters.

If you bought a generic HS 33 then you should already have these...hopefully. The extra height of the forks compared to standard trials forks used to be lovely when i ran them on a stock all those many years ago.

Yep, they've already got the adapters.

basically your sidekick forks have V brake mounts, and maguras as standard use the EVO mounts to fit on to V brake mounts.

4 bolt mounts are what the majority of trials frames and forks use as it offers a more secure and uniform fit. Also, you can get the brake set up perfectly square to your rim relatively simply.

The sidekick forks are heavy and they're also the equivalent height of 100mm travel suspension forks so will affect the geo of any trials frame. If you're running them on a small hardtail/jump-bike sort of set-up then you might be okay.

I used to run them a long time ago on the original Onza T-rex (silver and blue frame edition - oh yeah) and they were fine for that, but a lot has changed since then so it's going to be a matter of personal preference.
