omatto
Hi there, i am a serious newbie to the trials community (into DH) and i literally know near to nothing about trials specific components. The problem i have is this, I have some monty 158 cranks which seem pretty hammered, i took them off and took the bearing cover off (crank free hub ones, dunno what there name is) and the ball bearings went everywhere! is there anywhere i can buy the ball bearings and the race for them to sit in? Or would it just be better off me buying new cranks? Cheers!
isitafox
The freewheel part will actually unscrew off the cranks so if you can get that off (you'll need a freewheel tool) you can replace it with something better. I (and I'm sure nearly everyone else) would recommend an Echo SL, if your still not sure what you want/need give the guys at Tartybikes a ring and they'll get you sorted in no time! Cheers man, i presume you mean 'Echo SL 108' like this.... http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/complete_freewheels/echo_sl_108/c16p10864.html ?
