Jimbob 2705
Hi Guys, On my 24Seven Slacker the front wheel is slightly buckled, nothing bad, but it is buckled, so when I put the front brake on, the disk brakes on the rotor rub which isn't ideal. Does anyone know what I can do to make it unbuckled? Could I just get a shop to re-lace it, and hopefully this will get rid of the buckle. Here is the bike : http://www.leisurelakesbikes.com/product/24sevenslackerjumpbike2011.aspx?&id=13828 Thanks and ATB James Edited September 27, 2011 by Jimbob 2705
Laurence--Trials
Buy a spoke key and tighten the spokes on the oposite side of the way the buckle is going if that makes sense? So if the buckle is going left, around the buckle tighten the spokes comming from the right side of the hub.
weirdoku
You do know that a buckled wheel doesn't affect the disc rotor right? Either your disc rotor is slightly bent or your callipers/pads isn't aligned right.
Revolver
Your disc shouldn't be affected by a buckled wheel. If the disc is bent, bend it back carefully with a spanner. Edited September 27, 2011 by Revolver
Jimbob 2705
Oh, my rotor must be bent then! I will have to see if the rotor is bent then! Also, I think my Clarks Special Edition Front Brake needs a blade I assume - Any advice on how to do this? Thanks and ATB James
