Simpson
Right guys I love documentaries, particualy the ones that really challenge the way that you think about things. Seen enough animal docs for a life time. My 5 favourite ones currenly are; The Tillman Story Trophy Kids Human Planet Jesus School and Albino Killers All are amazing, but has anyone got any more gooduns? No 4od ones seen the all. If you can write a lil bit about them see if im interested that would be amazing.
MonsieurMonkey
Wonders of the Solar System and Universe are both amazing. Not just the content but the way they are presented as well. Inside the Human Body is brilliant as well. Not exactly documentaries but sort of, Long Way Round and Long Way Down are both really good. casualjoe
Anything by Adam Curtis is good, like: The Power of Nightmares The Trap The Century of Self Pandora's Box And maybe a few others like: Guns, Germs and Steel, great insight into our past. Crude, about the effects of oil. Through the Wormhole series 1&2, with the sexy voice over of Morgan Freeman Read about The Seasteading Institute for a positive eye opener
Revolver
I've been enjoying the odd horizon documentary recently. There was a cool one about how we interpret colour, the first in this current series.

Have a look! James May at the edge of space? Yeah it's definitely worth a watch though it's pretty short.
Scotty Evil1
Have a look about for current's 50 documentaries to see before you die. Think its finished on Current tv atm (sky 183 i think), but they show odd repeats now and again-May be able to find the list on net somewhere Keep checking Current, they usually have a few good ones pop up during the day There were some really great ones they showed, good mix of them too, from sport and gaming to politics and religion

Yea really enjoyed that but that just because I love Travis and all his shows, Nitro cirus is unreal. Edit to add something useful to the thread: I found all the Ross Kemp on gangs to be really good! LukasMcNeal
James mays edge of space I found good just because it's astonishing how space is, the view from the plane his in just looks like sci fi nothing I've ever seen before! One minute it's like cloudy then it's space its just mind boggling!
