Jamie_Trials
Maybe we should all stop asking for more and be happy with what we have, there's enough ways to access tarty without having to make apps for it
Muel
Ahhh fair doo's but what about the free games Developers often make apps and give them away to make a name for themselves. It would look pretty f**king good to have Angry Bird Creator on your CV. In terms of this Tarty App, I wouldn't dream of taking it on for less than £2k. It would not be a simple thing to build. A far better system IMO would be for Tarty to start storing card details and have a service like the Amazon 1 click thingy, that way no sensitive data has to run through your phone's connection, then just add some phone specific CSS to the current site to make it a bit more phone friendly. onza pro series guy
I know we have addressed that a phone is for ... urm ... phoning but a moblie version of the Tarty website would be uber handy for me, the huge loading time and sometimes inablilty to view images easily or clearly, or even at all does get annoying. MonsieurMonkey
This might just be me, but wouldn't this all be easier to save Tarty's number in your phone, then ring? You can find out if stuff's in stock, when it'll be in stock, if it'll be right for your bike, all in minutes. I've never ordered from them, but I know a few of the guys who work there and they're all pretty cool, plus they have an amazing customer service reputation, so I don't see why you would want to put yourself further away from great staff who are willing to help when you don't need to. Simpson
I know the CEO of Grapple apps brother closely which was featured on the apprentice last year. (http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/appsblog/2011/may/12/apprentice-apps-review) I know he charges about £20k per app which is available on all platforms and can process payments and stuff. Not cheap... But that is like top end of the market I guess.
