JohnyMilton
Are you serious, can't you count the number of spokes/spoke holes? Edited September 16, 2011 by JohnyMilton

Luke Dunstan
Are you serious, can't you count the number of spokes/spoke holes? Not when I don't have it yet. Otherwise I'd check. So yes, I'm serious.

Silferme
yes it is 32 hole . Just for interest, how do you know that? It's been sold at 36h as well.

As Johnny said, you count the number of spokes. You only need to be able to see half of one flange to sus it out.
Mark W
Looks like a 36h from counting half of a flange on there. I may be doing it wrong though...

I got that first time but you have to stop counting at the right point! If you start counting at 9 o'clock you have to stop at the one before 3 o'clock to get the right answer. Luke Dunstan
I just counted 36 as well!
Silferme
Ofcourse the simplest thing is to count the spokes but now we are only talking about a difference of one spoke (9 instead of 8). If I was buying a Chris King hub I doubtfully would be relying on my eyes on a half decent picture. I don't know anything about that specific hub so I was wondering that maybe I was missing something here. (I'm assuming that you are buying the hub or the complete bike so you can strip it)
ezgonzo
my eye's may not quite be as sharp as they used to be due to the fact that i'm an old fart, however from looking @ the pics i'm still only seeing 32 spokes, here's another pic of the wheel that i've managed to hunt out ,
bike_dummie
I got 36h, cant you just ask the seller?
ezgonzo
i'm still only seeing 32 spokes ( am i not normal or something ), if you look @ the pic it's quite clear to see that there are 8 group's of four, 8 x 4 = 32, are my eyes lying to me? ,
JohnyMilton
cant you just ask the seller? I'm getting 32.
Luke Dunstan
Thanks for all the help fellas. I have asked the seller, but I'm in the process of buying a new rim! So was needing a quick response! Thanks again!
Revolver
I counted 27, I think everyone else is doing it wrong, bunch of goons...
Luke Rainbird
Looking at pairs of spokes (as in the sets of two that cross each other halfway along their length) I get 8 pairs on the near side, so unless the hubs got different flanges I'd put my money on it being a 32h
