Laurence--Trials
Okay so in the past i've read that TGS bikes should be low and long.. but i've been seeing peoples bikes such as Damon Watson, TRA and a few others with high rise bars on.... why? Revolver
Times change, bikes change with it. High BB bikes are around now, you need high bars to not make them feel wank.

Luke Rainbird
ive got a long low stem, with high rise bars, it just makes it feel a lot nicer to ride Bear in mind that this will do much the same as running a higher stem and normal bars though

Silferme
Bear in mind that this will do much the same as running a higher stem and normal bars though Yes, but you got chance to do the small adjustments by rotating the bars what you can't do when running normal bars. Well, at least not as "much" as with high rise ones
pengsmelly
my view of it is if trials never changed, it would be boring. TGS means tap gap and side hop, when doe sit matter what geo a bike is? people ride what bike they want to ride and are comfortable with, as well as riding what ever spots they enjoy. I used to have quite a long lowish bike, and now gone short with high bb just because it's different, and i I know prefer it so much!
