Pure
Currently running HS22 maggys on the back and front and I'm not happy at all with the TPAs, they seem to do nothing at all but just spin, no change in resistance or anything - and yes I have bled my brakes, with water, and there is never a difference I've looked on the trials wiki on how to change the plastic TPA to a bolt but I just can't visualise it, anyone got a better way of explaining it, maybe with pictures? Cheers!
bike_dummie
The 04 maggy's where prone to tpa not working, fix guide >>> 1. remove lever and tpa 2.tap the tpa hole 3.use the correct size bolt instead 4.you have a tpa I presume you miss typed hs22 and you mean hs33? Mark W
You don't have to tap anything - I did "The TPA Bodge" to someone's bike mid-ride using an allen key and a bolt...
bike_dummie
That was just one of the ways to do the fix. Id hardly call it a bodge if you do it properly.
Mark W
I meant that any 'normal' M5 bolt will fit the block the TPA threaded section goes through, so you don't need to really do anything to it.
