Pure
In desperate need of some new pads, bought a new rim with a med/sharp grind on it and it's ripping the perished factory pads to shreds! Spotted the Trialtech Sport pads on Tarty and the description seemed to match what I am after, just wanna know what they're like, anyone got a pair? I'm running on a 19" Onza Alex, maggy hs33 06 or 07's and some no-named pads which are very old and 'dry' Cheers
WIGAN ??
not dissing any other trialtech stuff here but when it comes to braking stick with tnn
Pure
Cheers! Unfortunately that's a little more than I'd liked to spend, saving for a car atm! How do the heatsinks compare to TNN?
WIGAN ??
id just spend the extra tenner, heatsink yellows are good but i can imagine trialtechs being better just because all their other stuff is mint never actually tried a pair myself though
Mark W
TNN Trialtech Heatsink ...in that order. I'm a big fan of the LGMs, but after seeing how good Stan's Trialtech pads are in TNN backings I'd almost be tempted. Cap ran the Sport pads in standard backings and they still worked really well, but he's just switched to TNN backings/Sport material and it's awesome. The Heatsinks seem to be pretty bitey, but not quite as good as far as hold is concerned. Trialtechs seem better overall.
Pure
Cheers Mark, just the answer I was looking for! Would've gone with TNNs no questions asked if I had the monies! Thanks WIGAN also, fancy donating me the tenner for the LGM's

Mark W
You were definitely doing it wrong in that case...

Pure
I have maggy blacks on the front and the grey ones on the back - here They are about 2 years old each, (previous owner bought the bike second hand and ended not using it and left the bike in the shed so the compound is kinda old...) In 2 days, the maggy greys have go so low that I cannot physically get the maggy caliper close enough to the rim so the brake holds! Got the trialtechs on order for the back, the maggy blacks are fine up-front on a smooth rim Edited September 14, 2011 by Pure
