Paul pedal whore
Any one got an idea of best tensioner for inspired fourplay? As mine try-all one has broke?
Mikee
The Trialtech sprung tensioner is a good'en. Or a Rohloff but it is abit pricey.
AndrewEH1
I've previously used the Trialtech Sprung Tensioner and it is very good. I've switched to the Rohloff, and it is just as good (maybe a little bit better). If you do go for the Rohloff you'll have to remove the pin from it to ensure that there is enough chain wrap: Link. monkeyseemonkeydo
I started with the Trialtech Sport sprung tensioner and then got a cheap Rohloff tensioner and both have been spot on, couldn't fault either. I'm still running the Rohloff with the pin as well and haven't had any issues.
Matthew62
Rohloff on my Fourplay. I couldn't get the pin off for all the love in the world, so i just filed the mech hanger to allow for enough rap with a 13T sprocket. AndrewEH1
Rohloff on my Fourplay. I couldn't get the pin off for all the love in the world, so i just filed the mech hanger to allow for enough rap with a 13T sprocket. I regard to taking the pin off, I did it by holding the pin in a pair of pliers (but you could use a vice) and using a cheap pocket multi-tool that had a screw driver set that included some Torx attachments. Don't know the exact size but it is slightly smaller than the ones used as disc brakes rotor bolts. Matthew62
Yep, that's what I did. I have the correct hex size and no matter how well it was clmaped it didn't want to come free. It's as if the pin was bonded on. It doesn't matter at all, the hanger mod only takes a few mins and i've never landed on it so all is well. Pete.M
bargain... I couldn't recommend that one, it doesn't sit straight and I had to hack-saw a part off in order for it to tighten against the mech hanger. Then again, I shouldn't have bought the long arm one, and maybe I'm an idiot.

There was some bonding on the bolt when I took it off, guess I'm just more manly than you, or I got a badly built one...
Matthew62
Probably just more manly. I'm known for my lack of strength and miniscule build.
