G_!
just i have to buy new tyres and i've seen this tyre, i'm interested in this because is very light. i guess the grip is not very good, but really i don't need a great grip, actually i ride street and only sometimes a bit of natural, so i think this will work good for me... anyone has tested this? what do you think? how works it? any problem? also i've seen 3 differents sizes... 20 x 1.75" - 20 x 1.95" - 20 x 2.1" ..no idea what i have to choose..i'll have a rockman rim..what is better for this rim? tyre: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/20_inch_tyres/kenda_small_block_8_front_20_inch/c42p11353.html thanks for the help
Jamie_Trials
I chose the one with medium thickness, my friend has one that's the widest. If I were you and you want to ride natty a bit I'd go for the widest one, but I went with the middle because it's quite a lot lighter than the largest. 2.1 is safe, 1.95 and you're losing out on preload but shredding weight.
alex-trials-boy
I've used both the 20" x 1.75" and the 20" x 2.1" and i'd suggest the 20" x 1.95" The 1.75" that im using at the mo IMO is far too small, you have to run it at hard pressures not to max it out, whereas the 2.1" was ok but you can save some weight by getting the 1.95". As far as grip goes the whole range work very well for street surfaces, but the second you add wet mud to the mixture they don't work well atall!!. I know Laurence-trials has used the 20x1.95" on his mod and is now using the 24"x2.1" and think he is getting on with it well, Also Kenny-trials Had used both the 20x2.1" and is now using the 20x1.75" so we've all had our fair share of using the kenda tyres But like i said above the 1.75" has to be run at low pressures on wet muddy surfaces to get slight grip but at hard pressure does'nt grip atall, for street that you'll be riding i'd still suggest the 1.95" as i know you like your footjam whips hope that helped sorry for being a little long winded
dann2707
Had the widest one. Was great for street as you could run super low pressure but soon as it got wet it was like having no tyre. Also I got loads of punctures on natural. They are very light though and dont wear down fast. Im not running creepy crawler on the front and much prefer it.

Jake.
I wonder what the 20 x 1.75" one is like to ride, it's only 384g.
Jamie_Trials
I wonder what the 20 x 1.75" one is like to ride, it's only 384g. It'l be poop, too thin unless you're planning to only ride on the back wheel
