BradJohnson
After having lots of trouble with maguras and vee's i wanted to try something new. So i went for a rear disc, i went to the local bike shop and picked up a shimano deore 2012. Its the best brake i have ever used, i have landed skips, pallets, cars, cable drums and tractor tyres on my rear wheel and the brake hasn't slipped once, if anyone wants a new brake this is the one to get ! Ps: If your wondering what i was doing riding on cars i was at the local trials show and was able to practice on there before it started and after it finished. Greetings
Deore brake have always been very reasonably priced and performed very well. Didn't expect them to be good enough as a rear brake for trials to be honest.

To be fair though, you were using Magura black pads before - if you use a Magura with decent pads they can work really well. I do sort of prefer dual disc on mods, but a Magura with good pads and a grind work really well too usually.

Win.
