iwannaleeson!
Evening, Tomorrow I have a day off so Im going to get on and strip the paint off my rims/retape. What is the best way to do it? I've been told to use Nitromorse but is there a laquer or something you should use after? And what other rim tape substitutes do people use? Cheers, Ben

Revolver
You want raw rims? If it's paint, nitro mors and wire wool or wire brush. If it's anodizing, caustic soda. Clean the rim afterwards so there's no nitro mors on it afterwards. A few coats of lacquer. Rims aren't steel so they won't rust.
iwannaleeson!
Cheers for the quick replies! They are powder coated try-all rims. Any ideas on a b&q rim tape substitute?
Azarathal
Cheers for the quick replies! They are powder coated try-all rims. Any ideas on a b&q rim tape substitute? Masking tape, electrical tape (purdy colours), normal tape, tapetape Maybe mix it up a little, learn some form of martial art and use the grading belts (again, purdy colours) as rim tape.
