Hi my name is cedric and i'm 21 years old, i've been doing mountain bike for a while i actually own a norco sasquatch 2005 (36 lbs) and i was wondering if i'll see a big difference if i do a bunny hop with a trial bike, is it easier? How much weight a trial bike is in general and how much psi must be in the tires, i maybe want to buy a trial bike soon, which brand should i check? ps i live in canada

How much money are you looking at spending? An ok spec trials bike can vary in weight between 20-25lbs and I can guarantee you'd find it easier to bunnyhop!

I've seen some nice Inspired bikes for arround 1.4k $CAN, that's the amount of money that I would spend for a complete bike. Should I buy something else for a beginner bike i think this brand is pretty expensive and I could have something cheaper in case that I don't like trial :P

Don't go all out on a £1000 bike if you're a beginner.

Start off on a Mad Phase stock, it's only like £200 tops for one off the shelf.

If you want to do street, get an Onza Zoot to start with.

If you want a mod, any onza under £200 second hand will be fine, as long as it has good brakes.

It's not about weight. For example i could bunnyhop my 36lb Kona Coiler much higher than my old Koxx Levelboss trials bike.

I've since learnt the errors of my ways and have ridden an Inspired for years and could never see myself riding anything but and with the correct set up that can be bunnyhopped to some serious heights.

It depends on what sort of trials bike you're after and the style of riding you intend to do...
