eskimo
They do, but all trials freewheels are 1.370" x 24 tpi as listed on Tarty. 30mm is for the tiny metric bmx freewheels. Do you know what cranks they are?
Mark W
Some Onza cranks use a brass threaded insert for the freewheel section, so it might be worth double checking the person you got the cranks off hasn't accidentally taken that off with their freewheel before they sent it? The only micro-drive sized cranks I know of are the super short Monty ones from the 202 (I think it is...).
macpherson88
its an echo crank. just bought it thinking a normal freewheel would fit. can you buy the onza spacer and if so where?
Blake
My ZHI cranks require a brass, threaded insert, do you sell them on tartybikes mark?
Mark W
its an echo crank. just bought it thinking a normal freewheel would fit. can you buy the onza spacer and if so where? It's specifically for those cranks. Echo haven't made any crank with a micro-drive threaded section that I know of... My ZHI cranks require a brass, threaded insert, do you sell them on tartybikes mark? Unfortunately not, sorry!
Blake
No worries then, is there anywhere to get them? as my last freewheel had to be destroyed to get it out :/
Mark W
I'm not sure in all honesty. The best thing to do if you've taken it off with the freewheel would be to clean the threads up on the insert and crank arm, then use something like threadlock (or some form of glue) and tighten it back on and hope that works... Blake
I did get it out, and had to use it for a different freewheel on the same cranks, just don't want to keep destroying freewheels every time I get a new one, alternatively I could get new cranks...
