bikeperson45
Basically, whenever the wheel is turning so are the cranks, I can even pedal backwards with this. When I stop pedaling the chain stops and gets jammed or something (loses tension and top of chain goes towards the chainstay). This happened before and getting the hubs bearings seemed to stop it, but this has only lasted three weeks. Adjusting the tensioner does nothing. Any ideas? Thanks
DeVal
so your rear free hub is locking up? which hub is it for a start?
bikeperson45
It's a Hope Pro 2, took it apart and once again the bearings have eroded. This has happened in 3 weeks so I'm going to take it back to the LBS, not happy.
DeVal
strange the pro 2 bearings ive found are usually decent. (this was an old pro 2). so it was the axle rather than the free hub mechanism that was locking?
