AndrewEH1
Hey all! Having some issues with my bike. When I moved from using a rear freewheel to a Hope Pro 2 Hub, I also switched from a Trialtech to a Rohloff Speedhub Chain Tensioner. Whenever I pedal hard the chain skips but it doesn't when I pedal along the road. Took it to my LBS they had not idea. The chain has a good bit of tension in it. Set-up: Hope Pro 2 with 14t Sprocket Rohloff Speedhub Tensioner Front 18t Sprocket Image if it helps, sorry for the terrible quality: http://www.flickr.com/photos/53685602@N07/6080094158/ Edited August 25, 2011 by AndrewEH1
AdamR28
Need to take the pin out of the back of the tensioner, so it sits closer to the chainstay giving more chain wrap. You may need a washer under the head of the hanger bolt in this case, to keep the tensioner locked in place.
