number1spark
hi does anyone know if you can use floating brake rotors for trials. any help would be great. thanks
J.KYDD
Not advised. The floating rotors are designed to help stop warping at high temperatures by allowing the rotor to expand as it heats. These are NOT designed for the short, sharp lock braking used needed in trials. I've seen a few posts of snapped floating rotors over on OTN

Ali C
I have used them with no problems. Mine were the older thicker ones though, the uber thin xc ones are not up to it.
