TheCreepyJesus
Been wanting to get into trials for a while now but i don't really know where to start on building a bike or what size to go with. Anyone have any pointers for building a trial bike on a budget for a new comer?
Jake.
There are plenty on eBay for cheap. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Onza-Rip-Trials-Bike-/110733349106?pt=UK_Bikes_GL&hash=item19c838d0f2#ht_500wt_901 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/onza-rip-2010-trials-/260840579647?pt=UK_Bikes_GL&hash=item3cbb4f623f#ht_500wt_901 And more if you keep an eye out. If you're a beginner you don't really want to fork out more than £250. Good luck!
Rusevelt
http://www.winstanleysbikes.co.uk/product/17096/MAD_Phase_12_Trials_Bike_2010 Possibly the best current deal at the mo for a starter 26in bike with minor upgrade parts needed. T-birder
Hi I found that it is better to buy a second hand full build. I got an Onza T-bird barely used with a few new parts for less than £150 which is a fantastic deal. So my advice is keep looking until you find a bargain as there are plenty out there. I also think that 20inch are a better starter bike as they are more flickable and are easier to learn how to kick up on. Hope this helps, good luck
mad-dog
i agree with ( Rusevelt ) 26" is best bet have tryed 20" and would say from my experience 26" is easyer but thats me might not be same for you
Knottyloxx
Get a lil onza or monty unless your MASSIVE or really strong, cant go wrong and u can get em cheap enuff, i always found the transaction from 20 to 26 quite hard....thats why i have both
abatchx
I was the opposite when I first started. Really struggled with the mod's but got along with a 26" perfectly well. Although I'm about to start up again with a 26" so will see whether that still rings true
