Scotty97
I'am currently installing my new cranks (try-all) onto a new Fsa bottom bracket (I think), the sprocket side went on nice, all the way up against the spacer, the opposite side went most of the way on and then seemed to go tight, i can't get it to tighten any more, it's about one mil off the spacer, so the spacer moves back and for slightly?? Is this ok? Has anyone else seen this???
bike_dummie
not too sure what you mean but the crank isn't meant to cover the whole of the spline.
Scotty97
Yeah I know that, I got a spacer in there prob about 8mm thick (the spacer came with BB) If you take the bolt back off, u can see that the crank could go on another 1 mil. thinking about it, could the bolt be bottoming out??? bike_dummie
I dont think it would be the bolt bottoming out as the spindle is one long tube ( well at least my one is TrialTech sport lite). ride it to loosen it with the bolt done up tight then try again later on or maybe hit it on with a copper mallet forcing it down? Other than that i dont know sorry.
