monty221ti
i think the snapage problem is fixed?
CalopS
There pretty much the same as try-all cranks. I went with them because you can fit a freewheel and bash on a 165 length but cant on the try-alls. They we great. sold them onto someone else before going to stock and I dont think he's snapped them yet. smithy83
there good solid cranks,i had them on my stock for 6months,then when i built up my 20 i got another set theyve been on there 8months and no problems at all.realy rate them, there lite and look the nutz. like calops said you can run a bash and freewheel,im running the trialtech titanium with sl freewheel and theres just enough threads. bike_dummie
Ill probably get the rocman's then, just £100 quite alot for some cranks that could have died in a matter of weeks.
dave33
They are basically the same as try all with a bit more offset and some extra threads, just the machining in the inside that's different making they a few grams lighter, I have try all and rockman and they are just as stiff as each other but the rockmans a bit lighter so they are my choice, They are a really good investment as they are so stiff compare with all the other cranks out there

dave33
When did that happen sounds like I may have jinxed them, people do snap middle burns though and they are super strong so!!! I wouldn't bother with trialtechs even though they are half the price they are half as good!

Ali C
I wouldn't bother with trialtechs even though they are half the price they are half as good! I don't agree with that, sure they are a little heavier, but does 80g make them half as good? I have never snapped a pair of Trialtech cranks and am yet to see any pics of snapped pairs either despite being pretty much the most popular cranks going. J.KYDD
True, the Trialtechs are a decent pair of cranks, especially regarding price. They just look cheep IMO. Not that i'm overly keen on my Echo's, they have that classic 'Deng' look to them But they are light

dave33
the main problems with the trialtechs are they never seem to stay tight, and are always creaking. they are flexy when you compare them with others such as try all. and the pedal threads seem to fall out. weight isnt really a problem I don't agree with that, sure they are a little heavier, but does 80g make them half as good? Ali C
the main problems with the trialtechs are they never seem to stay tight, and are always creaking. and the pedal threads seem to fall out. Those sound like maintenance issues to me. Can't say I found them any flexier than other cranks either.
Matt Vandart
Who gives a f**k about cranks what about my half link question
AndrewG
Those sound like maintenance issues to me. Can't say I found them any flexier than other cranks either. that´s really true. When I´m destroy thread on my old Echo 6061 one´s and bought trialtech´s they´re feel really flexible in compare with echo. Anyway I´ve got this pair of trialtech´s nearly 2years and they are still fine and maybe this flexible in cranks can add few centimeters on your gaps IMO And problem with cracking of rockman is removed as I know with add material in pedal thread part of crack.
