3dd
Hi guys, Alex Guerra during a test of a new CSC Disc Brake, here a little review and video: http://www.biketrial...ndex.php?id=ch9 bye No offence all I could see that it slips when it wasn't landed right. Can't be as good as hope mono trials, could be lighter I guess...
SamKidney
Aesthetically, the brake looks really good. However, Try more pad types. They just look like its them thats letting the brake down.

MiuSliS
If those are "integrated" clamps, then i really give props to those. Idea itself is good, wondering about the performance. Edited August 15, 2011 by MiuSliS
biketrial-vadese
the disc brake is not good for pro-rider but for beginners is ok.... the price is 60 euro sended and only in the extreme situation the brake slip. the pads are from the avid brake! I am wait to the test the new csc hs... soon I hope another test ride!
dann2707
That's a proper good price though, for a hydraulic disk. Is everything included too?
Matt Vandart
Maybe the pads are not bedded in yet, Avid pads seem to take longer to be in than Hope. That's a proper good price though, for a hydraulic disk. Is everything included too? Looks like a hope rotor to me.
biketrial-vadese
for the test Alex have used a hope rotor because for the moment the csc company have produced only a brake system without a rotor! here the website: http://cscbike.com/
omgnoseat
Have you tried it on the front aswell? Should have enough braking power there I was also wondering what frame he is riding? Edited August 15, 2011 by omgnoseat
SamKidney
interesting other model How would this work? Yes you have upward and downward adjustment, but what about rotation? Turning the cylinder to get the pad within the rims sidwalls? If you were to run integrated clamps, you would have to have a slave/clamp combo unique of every different frame design.
biketrial-vadese
Have you tried it on the front aswell? Should have enough braking power there I was also wondering what frame he is riding? no because my tryall fork and 180 mm rotor is not compatible with the brake caliper... is necessary a 203mm rotor or another fork with a different offse, now i had send this brake system to my friend for a front test! the frame is a czar! How would this work? Yes you have upward and downward adjustment, but what about rotation? Turning the cylinder to get the pad within the rims sidwalls? If you were to run integrated clamps, you would have to have a slave/clamp combo unique of every different frame design. really i don't know... when i have this brake on my hand i will write a little review! dart89
the brake which Alex has tested is the current model J25,as you can see on the attachment , is recommended for XC use, for us it is recommended the J30, it mounts hope mono trial pads! You can see the photos here about the rim brake, I wrote a topic in "NEWS", however you can see the photos here

Agreed, if it's one piece there's surely no way you can move the pads in or out in relation to the rim either?
