Canardweb
Hello, I am considering changing my frame for a Neon X-Ray, again. I'd like to know if you have heard of that frame (breaking or building problems...) or if you know anyone who has this frame and who had problem with it, or if you own one and if you have had any problems with it. I am asking you these questions as this frame is very cheap on Tartybikes but as I'd like to know why it is so cheap. Thanks a lot. Jake.
"Red (Incl. bash plate), paint scratches on top tube" "Black (Incl. bash plate) with paint scratch on downtube" ^ That might be why it's cheap. I was also considering getting one myself but I need to wait until my Koxx snaps or something.

Canardweb
I'll stick with the marino in the end.

Jake.
No mate because I want a 26" one! Sorry I didn't mention! Oh I see, had a peek at the 26" version. It looks really nice. Get the red one if you have plain silver/black rims. Get black if you have coloured rims/bike parts.
Canardweb
And they lived happily ever after... I think you should read this post that I posted in this topic after someone reacted the way you just did: I know I can be inconsistent and I am sorry if it bothers you that much. Let's just say this is part of me and it's very very difficult to cure as it goes along with self confidence and mental illness etc... Now, stop making fun out of me because this hurts me a bit. The current period is not really easy as I am slowly recovering from my past and as I need assistance to get better instead of people mocking at me. Please if I make you angry or if you don't like me, be sure I won't take any true notice as I know it won't help me. Be tolerant and accept the fact that whatever you'll say will not make me live my life any different. Especially now. I don't know what you want, I don't want you to feel different about me, or to stop thinking the way you do as I have absolutely no right to tell you the way you should, hate me if you wish, I will truely not care. Now I am happy to see people defending me. People have made moves for me not long ago and I am really happy to see that people can worry and that made me ntice I am not as alone as thought I was. So thanks to all. My job permits me to buy gifts to people I like or love (although they are not much) without really bothering how much I spend. I think life is too short for me not to enjoy it. Only to tell you I won't react if you ever post negatively to answer me. I am still looking to change my frame though! The problem is I will have a completely different geo, but a lighter bike. What frightens me is the fact I will miss my old frame and the way it rode. So I am a bit lost whether to change my frame or not. But if I do, it's only because I like changing frames often. ghostrider88
Maybe you should think about the reason why so many people here don´t like you...My advice is to stop buying new frames every month and start actually ride them,so you can have all that fun doing it as you always say. You going to tell me to stop changing my Brake pads? Because I do......allot. Maybe the man likes to change things up. If you have the money, why not? I just spent £400 on a bike I didn't need today, just because I wanted it. Shut up and let the man do what he wants.

SamKidney
He changes frames every month. I change my pads every month. He likes to try new frames and see what he likes/ dislikes. I like to change pads and see whether theres one I prefer over my current pads. Its a personal thing that can help keep (in my case) interest in the sport prominent and keep me riding. ghostrider88
What are you trying to gain? Apart from acting like a genuine front bottom! Canardweb
Inteligent members understood that a while ago,so I guess you will realize it one day.Or maybe you won´t.Whatever. I don't think your reaction shows any sign of being open minded. And in my opinion, people are known intelligent, when they don't talk too much and also when they are wise, and accept every people to say what they want. This is called open minded. Be more tolerant man, or you'll end like me! You will probably not have the luck I have had so just top and let me change. Being not tolerant shows you are in conflict with yourself, so start fighting this straight away. I don't hate you at all and I understand your point of view, but it's not a good way for you, in all honesty. My only reason to change frame really is the weight. The perspective of getting a lighter bike almost made me forgot that I don't really care as the Marino is already pretty light for what it is and as I love the way it rides. It's exactly this sort of behaviour of being completely brought out with another idea than the most important one that I am trying to fight. Jake.
Why is everyone so against Canardweb changing his frame often? If he has the money, he can decide what to do with it. If I had the money, I'd probably do the same.
Canardweb
Well apprently I have heard people saying they break at the dropouts. Thanks everyone!
AdamR28
Well apprently I have heard people saying they break at the dropouts. Thanks everyone! Where's that? We certainly haven't had any reports of any breaking, sold quite a few. Usual thing applies for bike parts though: Cheap, light, strong - pick two. Jake.
None at all, 20 or 26. Quick question, (hope this is on topic) what frame is the most likely to snap? Edit: (As I'm looking for a frame that's like my Koxx XTP but stronger...) Edited August 19, 2011 by OnzaKid
