liam n
right, i have 5-10 free rides which are very grippy and are perfect other than the fact they're 1 size to big. now i have the money atm to sell the 5-10s and buy ribbo Lites OR try all shoes (or any other recommended pixie boot) so what do you think i should do? and what pixie boot do you recommmend? discuss please
koxxboy14
have not tried five tens, so don't know what the grip is like in comparison. But I like my ribo's. Good grip and have a decent wear rate. The try-alls are utter shite. Crap grip and wear out in a couple of months
CalopS
I've not tried a proper trials shoe but I've got 5/10's and there awsome. Will have had them 2 years this christmas and the sole is still grippy and hasn't gone through. The sides are pretty damaged now from rubbing on the cranks but I reckon they still have another half year or maybe more in them.

Alle.C
I havn't tried 5-10 or try-alls but I used Montys before and they are the same as ribos. Monty where pretty good, though I thought they wear out to quikly but I actualy used them in over a year of comps and training, though in the end there were no sole left! Matt Vandart
I just got 5-10 free running shoes in half a size smaller than my last ones which soles lasted about 1 yr (they are not totally f**ked, they just let in water on the sole). 1/2 size smaller fits much better. I have had all the above shoes you mention and the 5-10's are the best. Ribbos are just dangerous and tray alls are great for about 3 mnths then they fall to bits (seems to be a theme with Koxx) Edited August 12, 2011 by Matt Vandart
