KNOBIS!
Hello all, Been riding trials a few weeks now and my pedals are frankly crap. To small and difficult to get my feet positioned comfortably on them.. Anyone know of good trials pedals that are cheap and cheerful?? Thanks, Aaron. F.N.G
my pedals are frankly crap. If your having troubles with cages at the moment, Why not try Platform pedals also If you are looking for something very grippy and in your budget go for Trialtech Race Platform pedals very grippy and worth it! not at home at the minute but its these ones in silver 2nd picture http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/caged_pedals/onza_vp458a/c149p112.html Not to put up off buying these, but I snapped mine
old'scoolfool
probably because you stupidly removed a cage.... i've had many sets of these and never damaged any of course if you cant ride a trials bike n whack into everything you see get some dmr v8/12's pretty hard to damage them
Jake.
http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/caged_pedals/echo_tr_caged/c149p11193.html ^ I ride with these, very comfortable and grippy. Or these if you want to replace them easier http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/caged_pedals/rockman_single_caged/c149p11272.html http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/pedal_spares/rockman_7075_pedal_cages/c151p11273.html

It provides more space for mud and dirt to fall through and is more grippy... By the way I bashed these pedals once, the only other things I have bashed them with are my feet. bike_dummie
My DMR V8's are very grippy and strong to say the least further post dost apply to the dmr v8 pedals. Just make sure you get the right pedal for what you want some pedals are for different forces such as static ect. Taken from tarty (echo TR): When used for trials, the pedals come under different loads and forces compared to their usage on other bikes (e.g. BMXs) or on unicycles. They are designed to withstand static forces and 'normal' bicycles put more cyclic loads on the pedal axles. While they're fine for use on a trials bike (I've been using these pedals since they first came out, almost a year, and have had no issues with them), some customers have reported they've had some problems when using them on unicycles and some other types of bike. Thanks, Mark Edited August 10, 2011 by bike_dummie
