can you get hold off it with mole grips? if not i think your only other option is drill it out, then get the threads taped

Tried the mole grips they didn't work.. However i did manage to get it out without using a drill.

i got a hack saw cut into the bolt got a screw driver pushed VERY hard for the screwdriver to not slip and adventitiously managed to get it out (Y) WIN :D

I was about to suggest doing that. Glad you got it out.

sooo... 2 bolts in one day, that sucks... how do i get this second one out? (it wasn't over tightened this time) there's about 3mm of the bolt out of the top of the magura mount and its shaped like the top of a triangle - in a point.

I've spent a good hour and a half trying to do this one, and have done every way i can think of to try and get it out.

Id buy a decent quality set of Steel bolts if I were you.

Tarty sell some m5x25 Steel bolts that are really good. Ive had mine for well over 2 years now, and have only just had to replace them. (used a set of really worn allen Keys and it begun to round the head).

I do mine up pretty tight too, and they haven't snapped! Cheaper than Ti-Bolts too :D
