JDStrials
my chain is being thrown off the sprocket, i don't know for sure what this is, but the chain away from derialer is at a different angle from the angle the chain comes into the sprocket. its a bad description but can anyone help thanks jack
DeVal
the front sprocket , rear sprocket and derailier should always by as strait as possible with each other, specialy if you are using a derailier. so check that. im guessing you are using a single speed set up? if the angles are different thats your problem the chain should run in a nice strait line otherwise you get a tight spot were it grips, skips or the derailier and bingo the chain is off. JDStrials
no, im currently using the standard six speed gears that come with the onza cleaner. but the chain going to the derailor (sorry about spelling)is at a different angle than from what it is being picked up by the front sprocket. would single speeding it potentially solve this problem? thanks for the reply Jack Edited August 6, 2011 by JDStrials
DeVal
simple answer is its bent so straiten it so that all the sprockets / derailier are square and strait. the slightest glitch on a 6 speed will jump the chain. not ideal for trials. single speed kit all the way! Revolver
Your chaIn line is out. If you're using gears they could need resetting.
Manus-Rider
is your chain to slack? is your sprocket bent?
