Canardweb
This is ironic in a humorous way. (I understand he's French so there's a reason for it, but it's still irony.) It is because skyzophrenia isn't at all having two or more personnalities like in Fight Club or other movies dealing with this.
Krisboats
Could be completely coincidental, but there's no reason that it couldn't be true. Aside from men not going through a release of hormones in the same way as women?

Well yea, Fight Clubs multiple personality disorder. I agree with JD that it seems weird you came here and posted about your mental health in a topic that had little to do with it. That doesn't have anything to do with what I said. And Schizophrenia can be exactly like that. Just because yours isn't doesn't mean anything. Auditory or visual hallucinations, delusions, strange behaviour, I can't remember all the key symptoms but that's most. I think that fits Ed Norton's character pretty perfectly in Fight Club. JD™
Aside from men not going through a release of hormones in the same way as women? I was looking forward to this point being made... I think of this as being possible mainly as a routine kind of thing. We grow up in most cases around our Mums, and as astute and complicated beings it is not out of the realms of possibility for us to pick up on the cycles of our mothers and imitate them as we are imitating everything else so that we can learn. Something that is learnt that early will be ingrained in us and follow through our lives... possibly. It's just a theory
MonsieurMonkey
You will have ups and downs, and they may follow a set routine. But you don't follow your mum's period from being a kid. The only time this might even be slightly possible is if you still live with her. But even then it's unlikely, it'd be more coincidence than having some sort of bleeding gash sense. Matthew62
Well women's menstrual cycles go in sync if a group of women spend a lot of time together and that's not a directly physical reaction so therefore it must be induced by something such as emotion - a mental occurrence/condition. So under that train of thought would it not be possible for men to sync up? I however don't really feel my mood fluctuates. I'm more emotional when i wake up, but i'm consistent week to week - generally happy and interested. I've never been depressed nor do i imagine i ever could be. If ever i feel bad about things, or am a bit miserable i tell myself how much of a selfish, delusional dick i'm being (in comparison to the problems of others) and i get the f**k over it. I feel great rage, but it's regular and consistent and doesn't bring me down, nor angry for great periods of time, so i find that healthy. However, whilst in a very nice relationship, the idea of complete solitude from everyone goes through my mind regularly everyday and sometimes would like to see no one for long periods of time, as i'm quite happy in my own company. Therefore i don't believe that i suffer from male menstrual conditions.
MonsieurMonkey
Well women's menstrual cycles go in sync if a group of women spend a lot of time together and that's not a directly physical reaction so therefore it must be induced by something such as emotion - a mental occurrence/condition. That's because they pick up on each others hormones. They can smell it or some shit... They sync their cycle, the cycle brings about the mood. We have no cycle, so our mood cannot be brought about due to syncing up. She's pissed off, you're pissed off. Is about as synced as you'll get. Unless you start bleeding.
