DeVal Posted August 1, 2011 Report Share Posted August 1, 2011 basicly just an idea i had to lock my old pro 2 in an "engaged" position , effectivly making it a fixed hub so i can go for a free wheel on the front without splashing out for a new rear hub / wheel. DeVal Posted August 1, 2011 Author Report Share Posted August 1, 2011 trust me to have a cog with no holes in it! lol good idea though! im only looking to do it as a temp stop gap. if and when i get a new hub ill replace the rim etc also but dont want to build a new wheel with my old rim as its got slight flat spots and buckles. + ive not got the moolah after soem recent part purchases! ill see what i can do with it! I've done it before (I think), with an old sprocket from a mtb block right next the spokes, zip tied that up, then normal spacers and a wide base sprocket as you'd usually set it up.
