liam n
errr from a beginners point of view great starter bike however you'll wanna swap the discs round so it's 180mm on back, instead of the 160mm they give you, although you'll need new/different caliper mount things....then change to rear maggie when you get good ish

I can already pedal kick, i have been riding a year , i'm wanting the new bike to get my self into a few comps, probably at novice/intermediate. In that case I wouldnt, most of the bike will end up being upgraded.
BradJohnson
In that case I wouldnt, most of the bike will end up being upgraded. Yes true, but if i get something modern like the pro, I wont need to upgrade it as much as say 07 zoo python, basically all as i'll upgrade, it tyres if it needs them and brakes. Matt Vandart
I disagree about the brakes, if set up correctly (which is a pain in the ass) these brakes are well up to the job. Very 'bitey'.

extremedougie
my friend has one and i've been on it a couple of times. Its a very good bike to learn and progress on but the front end is very heavy: forks are very heavy and the bars are rather heavy too Edited July 29, 2011 by extremedougie
