trialsalot
Would different sets of forks give different amounts of flex?ie when the brake is applied really hard. Lets say urbans vs echo lites. What are the best ways of stiffening up the brake without piling more weight on with a booster. The set up I have currently is because lever, onza clear pads and xt parallel push cantis. Matthew_Gibson
when I was running vees on a stock. I found the best one I tried was Avid SD7. they were they were far stiffer than deore. but haven't had ant experience with the parallel push. what cable you using? could try a booster on there?! Luke Rainbird
Yes, different forks can lead to more flex under braking, but I'd imagine your main culprit is the parallel push arms as they tend to have a fair bit of play in them when used for trials. Ali C
those XT arms are the flexiest spongiest brakes going. I am pretty sure making brakes out of mashed potato would feel stiffer.
