Joshm1991
Hi I have a MAD Phase 1.2 and I'm wanting to upgrade the hubs on it!! Now I've been told that Hope Pro 2 hubs are pretty good and I've found some front and rear ones that have the disk brake mounts on them. What I want to know is can I use them as standard hubs without having to mount a disc brake on my bike?? I have HS33's on my bike so obviously I'm wanting to keep them!! Would I still work if I used my rim brake rim on the hubs?? Cheers Joosh
isitafox
Yeah they'll work fine, just comes down to whether you'll wanna go front freewheel in the future or not
old'scoolfool
all pro 2's have disc mounts you have both options with disc hubs where as with non disc hub you obviously cant have disc brakes should you want them in the future. imo if you only ever plan on using mags why have the extra weight of pro2's if your not using discs and dont plan on doing so its alot of unneccecsary weight i know what weight weenis are like
