Balls Deep trials team
Hello people on the fourm i have 2 Onza Blade 2010 frames and i will be running duel disc on both ... The problem is that i have to bend the frame out loads to put the wheel in just so the rotor wont rub on the frame i have an echo tr 2010 wheel that fits fine but i also have wheels with rockman bub hub (disc) and a speedrace carbon hub (disc) its only when i use thos hub i have the problem with the rotor hitting the frame which also mucks up my caliper alignment giving me a spongy brake.. the brake is hope .. is there any way i can sort this out without buying a new wheel ? as i dont need 4 wheels also people that ride onza blade frames ..what rear hub do you use if your running disc on the rear ? cheers Edited July 14, 2011 by Balls Deep trials team
Martin Reynolds
Just had a quick play with my blade frame, a try-all h116 disk hub wont fit (theres no way the disk would clear the frame), but it looks like a monty 221 ti hub will fit Hope this helps Or you could play around with spacers, spacing the hub away from the disk side? Martin Reynolds
thats what i have been doing but it mucks up my brake was hoping to use my speedrace carbon hub ... cheers man How does it muck up your brake? surely you space the hub away from the frame so the disk doesnt hit the frame, then space the caliper so its central over the disk? Balls Deep trials team
iv tryed all of that but the brake just feels rubbish ...and also the wheel axle hardly sits in the frame might have to just buy a new hub ..

The joys of the trials world.
