Brake Problems

I'm having some trouble with my rear HS33.

The TPA is fully out, the slaves are as far out as the clamps will allow but the left hand side pad still rubs. However the drive side pad has around 6mm space between the rim and pad.

I have used the snail cams to move the wheel as far over to the drive side as possible but it isn't making much difference.

Is there anything else that I can change?

Undo the axel bolts and tap the left side forward (Y)

I don't know how to as the snail cams are pushing the wheel as far to the drive side as possible...

If you've got a spoke key you could try dishing your wheel over more to your drive side?

What?

Basically it sounds like your rim is over to the non-drive side of your hub and needs moving towards the drive side, this can be done using a spoke key to loosen the non-drive side spoke and tighten the drive side.

Hope this helps :)

i just hadn't done the axle bolts up evenly haha!

So after several hours of mucking about with my tpa, snail cams, clamps and pads, it turned out to be something as simple as that......cringe
