Blake Posted July 5, 2011 Report Share Posted July 5, 2011 Can you file down a part of the magura mount so you can run it without washers? mine are all bodged and I don't really want to get more off tarty.... If anyone has any pictures of the part that needs filing can you please post them? Or sell me some washers cheap? Thank you very much in advance! Rockman Posted July 5, 2011 Report Share Posted July 5, 2011 You can run 2 lower mounts, to take away the washer, but instead of doing that you can file the little tab off the top ones, and slightly more so it clamps without the washer, if that makes sense. Themistoklidis Posted July 8, 2011 Report Share Posted July 8, 2011 Dont you also have to file the base of the clamp that touches the frame,in order for the pads to be perpedicular to the rim?I havent tried it yet,but im fed up with the maggie c-ring too and i dont fancy spending 20 pounds for the TNN clamps...Rockman are the pads being "eaten" up straight?
