Rockman
Hey all, Have been looking at the Bonz rear rim, just wondering if it is any good, does it hold grinds and does it become un-true quickly. Looks like the V!Z rim which I heard is sh*t. Shane

Canardweb
What's wrong with the Viz rim? They don't hold a grind at all and are weak!
Zoo!Man
Hey all, Have been looking at the Bonz rear rim, just wondering if it is any good, does it hold grinds and does it become un-true quickly. Looks like the V!Z rim which I heard is sh*t. Shane I've run a Bonz 26'' rear rim for around a month, and I have to say it's the worst rim I've ever had. Yes, it is superlight, but it is just impossible to make it brake. I had a great set up: 100% square Belaey pads, water bled, long lever, a nice grind, everything was right (as I've always done when I had a 20" bike), but the brake was sh*t. I found it impossible to get any sound of the brake, it didn't have a fast response at all. As soon as I changed the rim (I put a Bionic double-walled), the brake became gorgeus. Same set-up, but different rim; sh*it brake, to perfect brake. Edit: That's without mentioning that it was weak as f*ck.
