Pure
I've started riding again yesterday after months because I managed to snap the bb bolt clean in half... I'm new to riding and bought and Onza Rip 2009 off a friend who had stopped using it since he got a new bike! My new BB is the Because square taper 128mm and i've got the stock, middleburn cranks with 24T on the front and 18T freewheel. I've noticed that the BB itself "clicks" after i stop pedalling, only once or twice but i'm worried it's bending or something else! I also found that due to the length of the axle, and the nature of the middleburn cranks, the sprocket and freewheel are out of line and results in the top loop of the chain to rub against the frame. Could this be the reason the BB "clicks" ? I have looked into getting into new cranks and screw on sprocket but can only seem to find 22T on TartyBikes, can anyone suggest other sites that could offer 24T sprockets at an affordable price? Thanks, nraged! PS - I have magura HS33 brakes in major need of bleeding, is the magura bleed kit a worthwhile purchase?
