Mark W
All of it. Elephant and Castle in general, Heygate Estate, Southbank, Kennington Bowl, Kennington Estates, Tower Bridge Estates, etc. There's plenty of awesome stuff wherever you go!
Matthew62
I was going to say exactly 'all of it' also. Personally I'd rather not spend my weekend in shit ass estates, and have never found the riding in elephant that much more exciting than elsewhere so I'd perhaps suggest somewhere less soul destroying. Lots of Kensington is good. The city (square mile) itself is good especially at the weekend as there's lots of industrial and awkwardly constructed buildings that provide some good obstacles. Battersea park has some goos stuff to ride, the back streets of canary wharf are a wash of opportunities. Surrey quays leading through rotherhithe is good as there's lots of stuff along the non tourist part of the river. Greenwich has some possibilities that is accessible if you follow the river out east. One thing I'd say is that most of the major parks (Victoria excluded) aren't that good for riding. Just get on your bike and pedal around, you'll soon find something.
Mark W
You're riding the wrong estates Spent the 3 years I lived in South London just riding around and finding places to ride, and there's plenty of awesome stuff around if you know where to look. Thing I didn't really like about the square mile was the constant hassle, and how twattish City Police are. I've seen people given some brutal fines for stuff like bunnyhopping over the centre of a mini roundabout because it was 'dangerous', and I've had way more grief from them than I've had from any other police force anywhere in the UK. Interesting you said that Elephant was soul destroying too - found it worse riding in Canary Wharf by far, but horses for courses I suppose. Agree about going East along the river though. There's some really fun stuff if you stay right by the river around the sort of Limehouse area. Some crazy flatbank/wallride stuff in various football/basketball 'pits' there, as well as other stuff. Just keep looking over walls

Rusevelt
This youtube link is just to give you any idea what to look for when scouting around London. Use the surrounding architectural backdrops to keep tabs and track of where your going.
